Position Summary:

Dental Claim Support is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Insurance Verification Specialist who can positively impact our fast growing dental billing company. The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years of experience in the dental field, works well with others, understands insurance plans and has a vast knowledge of effective insurance verification. IV Specialist is an Independent Contractor position. 

How the Insurance Verification Specialist fits in:

Dental Claim Support's Insurance Verification Specialist will help streamline the dental practices' insurance verification process, by implementing DCS' systems to ensure effective and timely insurance verification is provided. Proper Insurance Verification is considered one of the most important and vital aspects to a dental office's insurance revenue. By providing your expertise and our processes, offices will experience timely claim processing, fewer denials and accurate treatment presentation. 

In this role, you will:

• Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, insurance payors and DCS team members
• Extensive knowledge of dental insurance verification, codes and terminology 
• Accurate notation of updated insurance 
• Payor website utilization
• Providing necessary information and documentation in relation to full breakdowns of benefits
• Ensuring timely and most up to date insurance information is provided
• Work closely with the billing teams on updated insurance benefits 
• Utilizing HIPAA guidelines at all times
• Provide professional and timely communication  

Success Criteria:

• Highly communicative with clients and team to ensure we hit their insurance verification goals
• Work alongside client and insurance verification team to ensure patient and/or insurance data is entered correctly
• Effectively utilize and implement IV process
• Use company tools and technology to complete full insurance breakdowns within an average of 10 minutes and eligibility checks in around 3 minutes.
• Maintain a 99.95% average Quality Assurance score.
  

Requirements:

• Dental Insurance Verification experience, minimum 2+ years
• Tech savvy
• Detail oriented and capable of multitasking
• Excellent communication skills
• Zoom access
• Preferred Practice Management Software experience: Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or Curve
