Director of Sales & Marketing Position Summary
As a thriving company with thirteen years of success, and having been named on the Inc. 5000 list for six consecutive years, we are seeking an experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our vibrant sales and marketing team into the future. In this pivotal role, you will manage our inbound and outbound sales efforts, steered by our marketing division. You will guide the skilled marketing team in crafting and managing our content marketing, branding, SEO, and advertising practices, with an emphasis on social media and generative engine optimization (GEO). Your leadership will be crucial in driving site traffic, converting these visits into viable leads, and nurturing those opportunities into loyal clients, in close collaboration with our Operations, Strategy & Special Projects, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Human Resource sectors.
This is role is offered as a Remote, Work from Home, WFH, Hybrid or in office position.
Key Responsibilities for the Director of Sales & Marketing
- Developing and executing the sales and marketing plans to maximize brand awareness and drive sales leads.
- Coordinating the synergy between internal and external marketing endeavors aimed at closing sales with target clients.
- Implementing content strategy aligned with immediate and extended marketing and sales objectives, amplifying SEO and GEO.
- Leading sales and marketing teams to strategize and enhance site content, style, and layout.
- Creating and distributing a variety of dynamic content via blogs and social media platforms.
- Editing, proofreading, and optimizing content to ensure brand consistency.
- Evaluating and reporting on the ROI of various campaigns and initiatives on a weekly basis.
- Using HubSpot tools to analyze visitor traffic, transform them into leads, and nurture them through to conversion, with key milestones measured.
- Maintaining a comprehensive editorial calendar for cross-departmental evaluation and input.
- Ensuring adherence to copyright and data protection regulations while safeguarding DCS intellectual property.
- Managing and engaging across all social media platforms.

Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Five years of verifiable success in sales and marketing within a B2B environment.
- Experience in leadership and management.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to delegate efficiently to achieve excellence and timeliness.
- Proficient in copywriting.
- Experienced with HubSpot or similar CRM, emphasizing Sales and Marketing workflows.
- Preference for candidates familiar with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and visual.
- Aptitude in interviewing and active, thoughtful listening.
- Proficient in receiving and providing constructive feedback, with the ability to conduct challenging conversations.
